I’m not the target demographic for 'My Hamster Story,' and it knows it. This is a management sim in the loosest sense of the word. You click things, numbers go up, you watch an ad to make the numbers go up faster. It’s a loop as old as time, and it’s just as boring here as it is everywhere else. The hamsters are undeniably cute, but that’s the only thing the game has going for it.

The 'story' is non-existent, and the gameplay depth is shallower than a hamster’s water dish. It’s designed to prey on people who can’t say no to big eyes and tiny hats. If you want a real management game, go play SimCity or even a decent Kairosoft title. This is just digital fluff designed to generate ad revenue.
