Look, I’ve seen plenty of these 'edutainment' apps, and most of them share the same DNA: bright colors and zero depth. My Little Work Garage isn't fundamentally broken, but as a gamer who appreciates a robust loop, there’s just nothing here for anyone over the age of five. The tasks are repetitive—tap a wrench, watch an animation, repeat. There’s no risk, no management, and certainly no challenge.

From a conservative standpoint, it’s a distraction, not a hobby. It functions well enough on a tablet to keep a toddler quiet in a waiting room, but don't expect it to teach them anything meaningful about how a car actually works. It’s a series of disconnected mini-games wrapped in a mechanic's aesthetic. If you’re looking for substance, keep driving.
