Dinsun here. Look, I’m a man of a certain age, and while I don’t usually go for games that look like they were designed for a nursery, Nekograms is functionally competent. It’s a simple spatial puzzle game. You move cats, they get to sleep. It’s not breaking any new ground in the logic department, but it’s a clean experience. No clutter, no nonsense.
My main gripe? It’s too easy for far too long. If you've played any sliding block puzzle in the last thirty years, you’ll breeze through the first fifty levels without using a single brain cell. It’s 'cozy,' sure, but sometimes that’s just code for 'lacks challenge.' It’s fine for a commute, but it won’t hold the attention of a serious puzzle enthusiast for long. It’s cute, but thin.
