Oh Hell Scores is a dedicated utility app for fans of the classic trick-taking card game, Oh Hell. If you've ever tried to keep track of the escalating and descending rounds of Oh Hell on a napkin, you know how quickly things can get messy. This app solves that problem with a clean, functional interface that handles all the math for you.

It’s not a game itself, but as a companion tool, it’s invaluable. It supports various scoring rules and player counts, ensuring that it works for whatever house rules your group prefers. The simplicity is its strength; it does one thing—tracking scores—and it does it perfectly without any unnecessary bloat.

I don't usually review 'apps' that aren't games, but since this is a companion for a card game, I'll weigh in. It does exactly what it says on the tin: it tracks scores. But in an age where every hobbyist programmer can throw together a clean, modern interface, this looks prehistoric. The design is utilitarian to a fault. It's essentially a spreadsheet with a few buttons.

If you're a serious card player who hates doing math, sure, it works. But there is zero polish here. No haptic feedback, no dark mode, and the layout is cramped on anything larger than a legacy iPhone screen. I've seen better scoring sheets made in Excel in ten minutes. It’s hard to justify even a dollar for something that feels this dated and provides no extra value like game history syncing or modern UI standards.
