Orbz is a colorful and straightforward take on the classic 'Simon Says' memory game. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it executes the concept with enough variety to be a worthwhile download for brain-training fans. The three different modes—Orbz, Colours, and Words—provide a great escalation of difficulty; memorizing a sequence of spoken words is significantly harder than just following flashing lights.

It’s a perfect family game, especially for younger kids or seniors looking to keep their memory sharp. The separate high score tables for every combination of difficulty and mode provide a good sense of competition. While the gameplay is simple, the recent updates have kept the UI looking modern and clean. It’s a solid, ad-supported memory trainer that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Dinsun Review

Orbz is the definition of mediocrity. You aim a ball, you fire a ball, it hits a thing. We’ve been doing this since the 70s. The physics engine is competent, but the levels are uninspired and the visual presentation is virtually non-existent. It feels like a student project that accidentally made it onto the store.

There is some minor satisfaction in landing a difficult trick shot, but it’s undermined by the total lack of personality. No music of note, no art style to speak of, just... orbz. I can’t hate it because it works, but I can’t like it because it gives me no reason to care. Conservative scoring for a conservative, boring game.

Minor updates

Orbz is a fun and colourful memory game for all ages. Based on the popular Simon game, a series of colour orbs flash in a random sequence. The object of the game is to match the sequence by touching the correct coloured orb on the screen. As you progress the sequence gets longer and quicker.

As an added Incentive each combination of Game type, mode and difficulty has a separate high score table.

There are 2 game Types;

Copy: A random sequence is played, starting at 1 orb, increasing by 1 more orb for each round. You must watch this sequence and then repeat it. If you get the sequence wrong it is game over.

Follow: A random sequence is played, unlike copy mode you must press the correct orb as soon as it appears. More than 4 current orbs in the sequence, or a wrongly selected orb and it's game over.

Both game types have three difficulty levels;

Easy: 4 Orbz

Medium: 6 Orbz

Hard: 8 Orbz

With 3 Games modes to choose from;

Orbz: Flashes the orbz in sequence.

Colours: Flashes a colour ciricle on the screen instead of flashing the Orbz.

Words: Flashes a word representing each orb colour on the screen, instead of flashing the Orbz.
