Frustrating instead of FUN
Tue Feb 04 2025 April250I have been playing this game since it first came out! And I kid you not I was hooked and loved it!! However, it got to a point where it seems like you can’t win games unless you make purchases for wildcards or more green lightening bolts in order to help you. That was the first red flag! The second red flag is why even have gold coins if they don’t purchase anything of value such as green lightning bolts to play more games!? third red flag is that in this game other than gold coins you acquire diamonds which can purchase green lightning bolts, but it takes you FOREVER to acquire the diamonds and when you reach 50 diamonds, you only get five lightning bolts (ONE TURN!!) Seems like the makers of this game have one purpose only in mind and that is for you to get hooked and get you to a point to where the only way you can really keep moving forward is if you spend money. The THIRD RED FLAG is when you finally DO use your diamonds for ONE round of lightening bolts you lose to the computer almost INSTANTLY!! I took a break from this game for over a year! Came back on today and saw that nothing has changed! For all of you Card game lovers or Phase 10 game lovers out there, I highly do not recommend this app! You get to a point where you cannot beat the computer and you’re constantly pressed with purchasing packages. Nothing has changed and they don’t post the reviews that call them out!! HUGE THUMBS DOWN!!! 👎🏼

Wed Oct 15 2025 SamOlson619I’ve been playing this game off and on for months and I’m starting to really get annoyed. I get that it needs to be challenging or it would be boring but wtaf people?!? I’ve been on the same level for a week and have had to either restart it or replay the entire thing over 20 times. There is no truck to win unless you have or buy power ups. The levels with 1 or 2 boys is okay but the ones with 3 bots are ridiculously hard. Not only do the bots see to always get their hands almost immediately, they will block you back to back and I’ve had it happen even when one bot has gotten their run, another bot will block me instead of them from going out. Or if the bots that got their run is already skipped, instead of holding their skip until the skip ends, they block me out too. As for earning power ups and gems, it’s gotten a lot harder to earn them for some reason. I don’t mind buying power ups once in a while but it’s like once you do buy them, getting them free is much harder. I’m about to delete the game because it’s getting ridiculous. Out of my 50 gems, I’ll maybe get 5 passes to move on to the next level but the on the last round, I get skipped t the point I can’t win and have to replay all 8 rounds again. This game definitely isn’t relaxing in the slightest so if you want something to play and relax don’t waste your time.
Lightning volts
Sat Dec 17 2022 lajdhdydI love this game and it’s very fun to play. I’ve never had any issues out the game nor any crashes. It’s easy to navigate through. There is one thing specifically that I don’t like about the game and that’s having the play 5 volts per phase in each level. I think that’s way to high especially for users that will play for hours upon hours. You have to wait 5 minutes just for 1 lightning volt. I believe it should be at minimum 2 volts. Some levels have 8 or more phases and some will have to be repeated two or three times. I’ve been stuck on a level for almost 2 days because I kept having to repeat it and would run out of volts to play. I understand they want us to buy more and all but I shouldn’t have to buy them everyday. This is something we do for fun’s me in our free time not a day job. Even with the volts at 2 per phase each level if we didn’t want to wait for the volts to recharge we would still have to buy more so there would still be money being made from us. It would be. I also think waiting 5 minutes for 1 volt is ridiculous. If it’s going to be 5 minutes at least let it be for 5 volts so we can at least play one phase to keep the game alive rather we have to repeat the phase or not, it would keep us playing even longer than what we do. This obviously is just my person opinion but I’ve talked with plenty of other players that agree with these issues but we’re not the developers of the game nor anyone who can make decisions on the game play.
Computers win too quickly
Tue Mar 14 2023 ItalianMommyof3Second time I’m leaving a review saying this. Technically the game itself is pretty great. My favorite game until recently, and I’m about to delete it. Once you get so far in the game, the computer wins way too easily and quickly. It’s not about skill or even luck. The computer wins on their first turn, or it lets you get ahead a few levels and then the computer wins immediately every round and you have to start over, over and over again. If you win power ups or buy them, go ahead and expect to lose. I’ve started hands with double skips and 2-3 wilds, and still lose right away without a chance to even play. If the creators are trying to make money by getting people to buy things, it’s not going to work. Why spend money to get things when the computer wins right away? It’s not even fun anymore. This game used to be my go to to unwind and relax, but now it’s just frustrating. I wouldn’t mind getting beat by the computer even more than half the time, but you don’t stand a chance anymore. It’s not that each level gets harder. That would be fine if the sets you’re trying to acquire are harder to get. But you can’t even try because the computer wins right away. It’s setup to slaughter you especially if you have wilds and skips. If you’re ahead the first half, the rest of the game is not even getting a turn or only getting 1-2 turns. The creator doesn’t even respond to reviews. Why have a game that people can’t even enjoy?
Frustrating game!!

You will lose at a rate of about 75 to 80% of the times, and the vast majority (emphasis on Vast Majority) of times you will lose before you even play your hand!! Also, the game is loaded with ads, and even though, you are limited to 10 plays (5 credits per game for a max of 50 credits), and it takes 5 minutes to earn each new credit - in other words, when you run out of credits, it takes 25 minutes before you earn enough to play another round! Again, this is even though the game is loaded with ads - No good!! And BTW, when you lose a game to the computer adversary, you lose the 5 credits for the game, whether you’ve had the chave to play your had or not - again, No good!! As for the game playing… the computer opponents are always racked with multiple “wild” and “skip” cards, but you can consider yourself lucky if you get a random “wild” one every third or fourth hand… I have lost count when the computer wins a round, displaying 3 Wilds, even before any plays draws a single card! This game is also programmed to not “think” beyond the current hand… for example, if you’re in last place and you just completed the phase for Round 1, you are guaranteed to get bombarded with “skip” cards even though two other players are about to finish and win the game!! In my opinion, this game should be repaired so it doesn’t screw the human player so much and make it more fun and realistic!!
Very rigged the further you get
Sat Oct 12 2024 A.C.0424At the very begging of me downloading this game, I absolutely loved it. There were times I’d win and times that I would lose, but it overall was a fun and it kept me going. However I noticed the further along that you get, the more rigged it seemed to be. I thought at first that maybe I was being a sore loser, but then I came here and read the reviews and almost every one I read said the same thing about it being rigged. It was also very frustrating reading the developers response to these reviews. While I understand that making it a bit more difficult the farther you go along, it should not become impossible to clear a regular level unless you have either insane luck, or the money to buy gems to get the wild cards. Reading that the developers think that this is “fair” and that the cards are “shuffled in way to make it luck based” makes me laugh. You see so many negative reviews all over the same exact thing, yet you don’t find a problem in it or have any courtesy to maybe go back and adjust some things. Based on how the response is basically the same to every review, it feels like there is no care to keep people playing. That is why until I see (if it ever happened, which I doubt it will) progress made to try and fix the problems, I will be deleting this game. If you’re thinking about downloading this,don’t. It’s simply not worth it after a certain point.
Cheating computer!
Mon Jan 16 2023 TarcottiI’ve played Phase 10 my whole life. This game is the same with a little variety. Ads are not as frequent. It’s great that you can play against computer or random people or friends. However, the computer definitely cheats. A challenge is fine and expected. It’s NOT expected that a computer gets their full set of cards from the very beginning of EVERY round. Some yes, not every round. This only happens the longer you play by the way. The developers can probably hide behind a simple sentence like “it’s supposed to be a challenge” However they cannot hide behind the proof I just saw. I’m playing against 2 computers. Computer 1 is tied with me 2 levels higher than the computer 2. 10 point difference, last hand, down to the wire! The losing computer (2) is on all cards of one color. I lay down my meld (got my set- all I need is to discard the remainder of my cards before computer 1 gets their hand down). So I just try to give Computer 2 what they need to make them go out before computer 1 as well. I lay down EVERY color for them more than once. There’s only 4 colors, not hard to keep track of. They don’t take a single color!! They keep drawing from the draw pile. Then of course, computer 1 gets their hand and goes out by discarding everything they have, and I lose by 10 points. So if in the round, the computer finally doesn’t have the hand right away, it does this instead. Enough. Deleted.
Rigged? & events
Sat Aug 31 2024 Spncrs mumI want to give zero stars. The game in theory is ok. Want to play, but can’t unless I go through the tutorial for the new event. Cant skip it at all. So that’s no fun. If I want to do the event, I’ll click on it, then I can do the tutorial if I choose. Don’t force it and not allow me to play the regular part of the game. I played the old version a few years back. I was able to choose the player level of myself and the computer opponents. This version does not allow that. I feel it’s somewhat rigged because of how the computer plays. When I’m dealt a decent hand for a round, I don’t ever get a chance to play at all. The computer players close out and win within 1-2 hands. When I’m dealt a crappy hand, it seems to take forever. I still tend to lose more often than not, so they take me for a lot of points. I’ve also been keeping track of the times I win the hand or at least get the cards needed. It’s averages about 1/10, 10% of the time. The hard (skull) levels are much worse. I’ve been on the same one for 2 weeks. Playing every day, 2-3 hours a day. Very discouraging to say the least. And don’t get me started on the “skip” cards! That’s definitely rigged Against us human players, and I’m keeping track of that also. - Oh yeah, the stages do not matter. It’s any and all. I recently opened another scene. I keep passing round 1 of 2, in a stage. In round 2, I haven’t even taken a turn and lose to both computer players in the first hand played every time. Go figure.
