Dinsun here. If you like numbers, you’ll like Power Grid. This isn’t a game for people who want flashy graphics or 'action.' It’s a cold, calculated game of market manipulation and efficiency. The digital port does a great job of handling the math—which is the most tedious part of the physical board game—leaving you to focus on the strategy. It’s lean, it’s mean, and it’ll punish you for a single bad bid.

The interface is a bit utilitarian, almost like an Excel spreadsheet at times, but that fits the theme. I appreciate that they didn't try to over-animate it. The AI is surprisingly competent, though nothing beats the tension of an auction against real people. My only complaint is that the tutorial is a bit dense for newcomers. If you haven't played the board game before, expect a steep learning curve. It’s a 'thinker's' game, and we need more of those.
