Prismatic Attack takes the classic 'Ikaruga' mechanic of color switching and applies it to a mobile shooter. It’s a bit unoriginal, but I'll give it credit: the execution is tight. The controls are responsive, which is a rarity on touchscreens for this genre. It demands a level of focus and manual dexterity that I actually appreciate in an era of idle games.

That said, it’s purely an arcade experience. There’s no story, and the visuals—while clean—are just neon lines. It feels like something that should have been a mini-game inside a larger project. It gets very difficult very quickly, which is fine, but there’s not enough variety in enemy behavior to keep me coming back after I’ve hit a high score plateau. It’s a good test of skill, but lacks longevity.
