Honest review: I’ve played pol for a good 8 months continuously, I downloaded as a joke at first but somehow it was pretty addicting, the people are really nice and a lot of them help out new players! It’s a great environment but as any game, the p2w aspect of pol is seriously insane. It’s basically really p2w based and after a while after you get used to the game and gain might, you see that it starts to get super difficult if you’re a f2p. PLEASE MAKE IT EASIER! The main thing for me is that the server merges annoy me quite a lot, it’s for the better but it’s definitely a major reason to why I quit. However, other than a few small complains here and there I would recommend this! It’s somewhat complicated at first but it’s quite nice when you sort of get the hang of it. A piece of advice for new players: troth some rich single person that’s active in your server!

★★★★★ Adjustment Needed to Stop Bullying

First, do understand I love and highly recommend this game. The art, music, and story are beautiful. This is a well-crafted, complex game that takes a player to an alternate reality. I have met lovely people in this game as well. This is a P2W game but F2P can enjoy a fantastic, ad-free experience, too, and go very far. I do encourage people who like RPG to join us in PoL. That said, there are aspects of the game that should be corrected. Certain events such as Firmament Call, allow higher level players to keep new people dead and unable to play at all. They do this by standing over the lower levels in revive camp to wait for them to come alive, then kill them immediately. This is poor sportsmanship and selfish as the higher levels are doing this to compete with each other for maximum kills with no regard for newer players. The developers could stop this by not allowing farming in the revive camp, or lower points for subsequent kills of the same player. Fair warning, there are bullies in the game. It is possible to have a great experience in PoL despite the behaviors described above. Hopefully, the developers will address some aspects of the game.

★★★★★ CHU TANG😭😭

Surprisingly, this is actually an amazing game. The ad made me download it as a joke to try and make my character homosexual as advertised but I’m so invested in the story now. I found it so good that in that when Chu Tang committed suicide in the jail I cried. Especially when her letter said “I’m too tired and too lonely. I must find him in another world.” It hits GOOD and it hits HARD. We decorated the crescent house for her to come over and she never did. I hope we never have to change that flower vase because that one is really important to the memory of Chu Tang. This game has good voice acting a fun play style and pretty and interesting characters, like the main character’s depth of men not taking women in court seriously and her fathers disapproval. I can’t wait to see how the story develops. And I hope the adds aren’t lying about becoming a homosexual. My girl needs a wife❤️❤️❤️

Wow this game is gorgeous, well written, and fun! Even though there are pte elements, they aren’t necessary & you can have a ton of fun and feel like you’re making progress without it. It’s more combat focused than outfit focused so far, but I’ve kind of enjoyed that as I don’t feel locked out of events as a newer player. I kind of think of this as the feminist version of things like Fate of the Empress, in a very good way! I love the added choice elements. It’s deeper than a flavor text as most choices give +personality trait points, which lead to different bonuses. As a huge fan of RPGs as a whole, I’ve also really appreciated the ability to ‘spec’ your team. This helps with ftp & early game stuff as well because you can make a tanky dps, or a high dmg tank if you want/need. Also the characters & relationships are great! Very swoon worthy 😍

I don’t ever write reviews ever but this game has me impressed. I’ve been playing for less than an hour so I can’t really say much but first impressions are great. The voice acting is fantastic. It sounds very professional and like you’re watching a drama. I’m a huge fan of C-drama so I’m a big fan. The character is adorable, the art is beautiful, the whole vibe of the game is great. I really like the whole general layout of the game and how it’s made. It’s unlike any other games of this type that I’ve played. One thing I was really pleasantly surprised about is the animation clips. It’s like you’re watching a Chinese animation cartoon! As a Chinese person, I feel this game comes the closest to capturing that drama-cartoony vibe that is unique to Chinese culture. So far, I would definitely recommend you try the game.

As a relatively older player whom has seen most of the game’s content and made quite a few friends while also enjoying myself, I would say PoL is a great and relaxing game to play whenever you feel like doing nothing at all. Yes, dailies can get fairly annoying— along with most things being P2W, but overall it can also be played as a F2P. I must admit I’ve spent a fortune on this game and I don’t regret it at all. However, I would enjoy more bond options since Xiao Qian is a character I have grown to admire. Beautifully written and all of the bond options are great by themselves. Case Inquiry, specifically Cattle Breeze, can definitely get updated and as most whom have played know that it’s one of the only things that cause a major headache. Cattle brat, just give me my UR art cores. (╥﹏╥)

I’ve been playing Lingyun for a while now, and its a great game that I highly recommend. It has a fun, engaging, and compelling storyline, beautiful graphics and animations that you can tell took time and effort. There are multiple different sub-characters with various backgrounds and storylines, *beautiful* voice acting, and just an overall high quality. As someone who never spends money on mobile games, I’ve come across multiple different games requiring you to pay to advance - Lingyun is far from the case. Advancing and leveling up is still fun and rewarding even after months of playing. It takes effort and time like all games, but you can still advance without spending every waking moment playing (or more importantly, without paying).
