Prune+ in IOS

Our Site Score

89/100

Prune+ is less of a game and more of a poem in motion. In an era of high-octane shooters and complex RPGs, Prune+ asks you to slow down and appreciate the simple act of growth. The mechanics are incredibly simple—you swipe to cut—but the strategy required to navigate the later, more industrial levels is surprisingly deep.

The aesthetic is stunning, using a limited color palette that makes the sudden burst of white flowers at the end of a level feel like a genuine triumph. It’s a very tactile experience; there’s a specific satisfaction in seeing a branch you’ve guided carefully finally hit the sun. It’s short, yes, but it’s a perfectly curated experience that doesn't overstay its welcome. If you need a moment of peace in your day, this is the app to open.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. Prune is one of those 'art' games that populates the mobile space. It’s functional and aesthetically disciplined, which I appreciate. You swipe to cut branches, directing a tree toward the light. It’s simple, perhaps too simple for those looking for a deep mechanical challenge, but it executes its vision without any unnecessary clutter. It doesn't overstay its welcome, which is a mercy in an era of endless live-service bloat.

The difficulty curve is gentle, though some later levels require a bit of precision that the touch controls don't always favor. It’s a somber experience, devoid of the bright, flashing lights intended to hijack your dopamine. It’s fine for a quiet evening, but don't expect it to change your life. It’s a tool for relaxation, nothing more, nothing less.
