I’ve always liked the 'Pumped' series because it actually requires a bit of dexterity. This isn’t one of those games where you just hold right and win. You have to understand momentum, timing, and how to set up for the next jump. The tilt controls are a point of contention for some, but I think they provide the necessary precision for the mid-air rotations.
It’s a bit dry in terms of presentation—very focused on the mechanics rather than the 'lifestyle'—but that’s what I prefer. The challenges get incredibly difficult toward the end, bordering on frustrating, but the feeling of finally nailing a perfect run is genuine. It’s a solid, honest sports game. No fluff, just bikes.
