Being able to offload your HUD (Heads-Up Display) to an iPad or iPhone sitting on your rig adds a level of immersion that you just can't get from the on-screen display alone. Seeing your tire temperatures, fuel mapping, and delta times in real-time on a dedicated screen makes you feel like a pro GT3 driver.

The latency is almost non-existent, provided you have a stable local network connection. The various layouts are clean and mimic the actual Motec or Bosch displays found in real race cars. I'm not usually one for third-party gadgets, but for a title as data-heavy as Gran Turismo, this is a legitimate asset. Polyphony’s in-game HUD has always been a bit cluttered or poorly placed depending on your cockpit setup. Having your fuel map and tire temps on a dedicated screen by your wheel is how sim racing is supposed to be done. It’s clean, professional, and avoids the neon-soaked 'gamer' aesthetic.

However, it’s a niche utility, not a game. Setup can be a headache if you aren't familiar with port forwarding or static IPs. If your Wi-Fi flickers, your dashboard dies, which can be catastrophic during an endurance race. It lacks some of the advanced logging features seen in PC-based SimHub setups, but for a console-focused app, it’s a solid, conservative piece of software.
