Real Car Driving: Racing City is a solid entry for fans of open-world driving sims who want a mix of exploration and high-speed racing. The city is surprisingly large, with plenty of ramps, highways, and hidden alleys to discover. The car customization is the highlight here; you can tweak everything from the paint and rims to the engine performance and suspension. It feels good to take a basic car and turn it into a street-racing machine.
The driving physics lean more towards 'sim-arcade'—it's not quite a hardcore simulator, but there's enough weight to the cars that you have to be careful with your braking and drifting. The missions vary from standard races to stunt challenges, providing a good variety of activities. While the AI traffic can be a bit unpredictable at times, it adds to the challenge of navigating the urban environment at 100 mph. For a free-to-play racing game, it offers a lot of content and a very satisfying sense of speed.
Dinsun here. Mobile 'simulators' are usually a disaster, and this one barely keeps its wheels on the road. The 'Real' in the title is doing a lot of heavy lifting for a game where cars feel like they're made of cardboard and the physics engine acts like gravity is a suggestion. I’ve played Gran Turismo and Forza; I know what a car should feel like. This isn't it.
The city is large but empty—a classic case of quantity over quality. There are buildings, roads, and other cars, but there’s no life. It feels like driving through a tech demo. The controls are crowded on the screen, and the sense of speed is poorly communicated. It’s better than the asset-flips usually found in this category, but only marginally. It's a game for people who just want to steer something while waiting for the bus, not for actual gearheads.
Performance: Draw distance is poor, leading to significant pop-in. Controls can be laggy on older devices.
Buy if: You enjoy mindless driving in open spaces and aren't picky about physics.
Skip if: You expect a true racing simulation or a lively city environment.
