Dinsun Review
I've played dozens of these 'Civilization-lite' mobile games, and Rise of Cultures doesn't do much to break the mold. The production values are high—Innogames knows how to make a clean UI—but the gameplay is the same old loop: tap a building, wait four hours, tap it again.
The combat has a bit more depth than your average 'Auto-battler,' allowing for some unit placement strategy, which I appreciate. However, the aggressive monetization and the inevitable wall you hit unless you pay or wait days for a single upgrade is exhausting. It's a game designed to occupy your time in 5-minute increments, which isn't what I call a deep gaming experience. It’s competent, but soulless.
