Rob and Run is another casualty of the 'hyper-casual' era. It takes the interesting concept of stealth and guts it until there’s nothing left but a shell. You run, you hide in a predetermined spot, you run again. There’s no tension because there’s no room for error or creativity. It’s a mindless distraction, not a game. I remember when stealth games like Thief required patience and planning; this just requires you to wait for a red circle to move away. It’s insulting to the player’s intelligence.
