Dinsun Review
Rooftop Run nails the initial feeling of momentum. Jumping off a ledge and rolling into a sprint feels surprisingly tactile for a mobile game. But that feeling wears off fast. By level 50, you've seen everything the urban environment has to offer. The 'enemies' are just moving obstacles with no real AI, and the level layouts start to feel like they were generated by a very bored algorithm.
It suffers from the typical mobile action game disease: the flow is broken every 60 seconds by a full-screen ad. For a game that relies on 'flow' and speed, this is a fatal flaw. It’s fine for a quick burst of energy, but it lacks the depth of a Mirror's Edge or even a well-made Vector.
