Another 'game' that isn't a game. RookSC is a utility tool for the niche group of people who still play physical Rook. It does its job perfectly wellβit tracks the complicated bidding and card-point math that makes Rook a bit of a headache to score manually.
But again, as an app in the gaming category, it has zero entertainment value. The interface is utilitarian and boring. It's essentially a specialized version of Microsoft Excel. If you don't play Rook with physical cards, this app has no reason to exist on your phone. If you do play Rook, it's a handy tool, but it's still hard to justify paying for it when you could just as easily use any free note-taking app.
