Super Sidekicks on the ACA NeoGeo series is a time capsule of 90s arcade hype. It’s not a 'realistic' football game by modern standards, but it’s infinitely more fun because of it. The 'Ace Shot' mechanic and the over-the-top goal celebrations perfectly capture the spirit of the arcade era. It’s fast, aggressive, and incredibly satisfying to play.

The mobile port is handled with the usual ACA excellence. The virtual stick is responsive, but the game truly shines if you connect a Bluetooth controller. Being able to save and load anywhere makes the difficult later stages of the tournament much more manageable. It’s a hit of pure nostalgia for retro fans and a great history lesson for younger football fans.
