Santorini is one of those rare board game ports that actually feels better on a screen. The 3D graphics are vibrant and capture the charm of the physical game, while the touch interface makes building towers feel very natural. The AI is surprisingly competent, providing a real challenge even for seasoned players.

What makes Santorini special is the 'God Powers'. Every game feels different because you have to adjust your strategy based on which mythological ability you and your opponent are using. It's 'easy to learn, hard to master' in its purest form. Whether you're playing solo or against friends online, it’s a brilliant tactical experience that belongs on every board gamer's phone.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. I usually prefer my strategy games with a bit more grit and a lot more complexity, but Santorini managed to catch my attention. It’s an abstract game, which usually means it’s dry, but the digital polish here is impressive. The AI is actually capable of putting up a fight, which is a rarity for mobile board game ports. The God Powers add a layer of replayability that keeps the simple 'climb the tower' mechanic from getting stale, though some powers clearly feel more balanced than others.

My main gripe is the interface. On a smaller screen, the 3D perspective can be a bit finicky when you're trying to place a block precisely. It’s a game of inches, and a missed tap can ruin a twenty-minute build. Still, for the price of a cup of coffee, you’re getting a deep tactical experience that doesn't rely on microtransactions. It’s a bit too 'cute' for my usual tastes, but the mechanics are sound enough that I can overlook the aesthetic.

Santorini is a highly accessible strategy game where you play as a Greek God or Goddess. The rules are simple: Move one space and Build one level. The first player to reach the third level wins! However, with dozens of unique God Powers that change how you move and build, every match requires a new tactical approach. Play solo against the AI or online with players worldwide.
