Dinsun here. Jackaroo is a solid board game—think 'Ludo' with cards—and this app gets the rules right. The problem is everything else. The UI is a mess of flashing icons, social notifications, and microtransaction prompts that make it hard to focus on the board.
If you have a group of friends who play Jackaroo, this is a functional way to play remotely. But as a general 'gamer,' there’s not much here to pull you in. The community is very specific, and the social features (like voice chat with strangers) are a minefield. It’s an okay adaptation of a good game, buried under too much mobile-social-app fluff. I’d rather play the physical board game any day.
