Dinsun here. I’ll admit, the art style in She and the Light Bearer actually managed to soften my cynical edges. It’s like playing through a living watercolor book. The developer clearly cared about the world-building, and the acoustic soundtrack is a welcome change from the usual electronic bleeps. It's a contemplative experience, which I can respect in a market that usually demands constant dopamine.
But let’s talk about the 'game' part. The puzzles are basic—borderline trivial. If you’re coming here for a mental workout, you’ll be disappointed. It's more of an interactive poem than a traditional adventure game. I found the pacing a bit sluggish at times, and the dialogue can lean a little too heavily into the 'precious.' It’s a beautiful piece of art, but as a game, it lacks the mechanical depth to be truly legendary.
