dual-hero card roguelike game

Our Site Score

84/100

Silent Abyss: Fate of Heroes is a deep and rewarding roguelike deck-builder that manages to stand out in a genre dominated by Slay the Spire clones. It introduces a unique 'dual hero' system that fundamentally changes how you think about card synergy. Managing two separate decks and health pools simultaneously adds a layer of tactical complexity that makes every encounter feel like a high-stakes chess match.

The dark fantasy art style is evocative and consistent, creating a somber atmosphere that matches the difficulty of the game. It is a challenging experience, but the meta-progression—unlocking new cards and artifacts for future runs—keeps the 'just one more try' loop feeling productive. For fans of strategic card games, this is a must-download for its innovative mechanics and polished execution.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. It's refreshing to see a mobile game that actually requires a functioning brain. Silent Abyss is a deckbuilder that clearly wears its inspirations on its sleeve—specifically Slay the Spire. It doesn't do much to innovate on that formula, but it executes the core mechanics well enough to be engaging.

The difficulty is respectable; you can't just click through and expect to win, which I appreciate. However, the art style is a bit generic 'dark fantasy' and the translation in some menus is questionable. It lacks the polish of the genre leaders, but for a mobile title, it’s a competent time-sink for those who like to crunch numbers and plan three turns ahead. It won't change your life, but it won't rot your brain either.
