I’ve seen a lot of ways to waste time, but Slingo Adventure is particularly offensive. It takes the mindless luck of a slot machine and the boredom of bingo, then adds 'lives' and 'energy' to make sure you can't even play the mediocre game whenever you want. This is the antithesis of what gaming should be. There is almost zero skill involved; you are at the mercy of the RNG, and when the RNG fails you, the game conveniently offers to sell you a power-up.
It’s loud, it’s flashy, and it’s clearly designed to trigger the same centers of the brain as a casino floor. As someone who values mechanics and strategy, there is nothing for me here. It’s digital junk food that leaves you feeling empty. If you’re over 40 and respect your time, you'll stay far away from this glorified slot machine.
