Dinsun here. I’m generally skeptical of AR—it usually feels like a gimmick. Smash Tanks is one of the better ones, though. The 'slingshot' mechanic is satisfyingly tactile, and seeing a tiny tank blow up on your coffee table is undeniably cool the first five times. However, the AR tracking still isn't perfect; if the lighting isn't exactly right, your tanks will start floating. It’s a conservative take on a board game, but the technology still feels like it’s in its 'awkward teenager' phase. Good for a laugh with a friend, but not a serious competitive title.
