Soda Maker is a quintessential 'creative play' app for younger users. It capitalizes on the simple joy of mixing colors and flavors to create something virtually delicious. The interface is brightly colored and easy for toddlers or elementary-aged children to navigate without parental help.

The game does a good job of simulating the steps—from choosing the cup to adding the ice and fruit garnishes. While it lacks deep gameplay for older players, as a digital toy, it’s highly effective. This is bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. There’s no challenge, no progression, and no point. You tap a button to 'pour' liquid that looks like a static gradient. It’s a toy for a three-year-old, and even then, I’d suggest giving them a cardboard box instead—it would be more stimulating. It’s covered in ads and is essentially a vessel for selling 'extra' flavors. It’s everything wrong with the casual mobile market. Zero stars if I could.
