Dinsun Review
Songless is a bit of a mixed bag. I like the core concept—it’s actually quite challenging to identify a track based only on the drum beat or a bass line. It makes you feel like you know music until you realize you don't. The integration with external playlists is the only thing that gives this app any real-world utility.
But as a game? It’s dry. There’s no flair, no personality. It’s like taking a test at a record store. If you don't have a broad taste in music, you’re going to hit a wall very fast. It’s a very niche product for a very niche audience. I’m 40, my playlist hasn't changed since 2005, and this app didn't do much to convince me to change that. It’s fine for what it is, but it’s not something I’d play for fun.
