I’m usually skeptical of camera-based gaming—it usually feels like a gimmick that works half the time. But Starri actually manages to track movement with decent accuracy. It’s an exhausting workout if you play the higher difficulties. The song selection is heavily slanted towards Asian pop, which is fine, but it might not be for everyone.
The UI is slick and modern, but the game is held back by the hardware. You can't just 'play' this; you have to set up your environment, check your lighting, and prop your phone up perfectly. It’s a lot of friction for a mobile session. However, as an exercise tool that’s actually fun, it’s one of the better options on the store. Just don't expect to play it on a cramped train.
