I’ve never quite understood the appeal of games that simulate jobs you could just go out and do for actual money. This simulator is a textbook example of 'jank.' The physics are floaty, the character models look like they were pulled from a 2005 bargain bin, and the gameplay loop is incredibly repetitive. You scan a banana, you take the money, you repeat. Yes, there are some management elements—ordering stock and whatnot—but they’re shallow. It’s an okay way to kill ten minutes, but it has zero staying power. It feels more like a proof of concept than a finished product. If you’re truly desperate for retail work, go apply at a real store; at least they’ll pay you.
