Tue Jun 28 2022 UltraporygonFor anyone reading, I typically play any free to play apps in airplane mode to help stop an onslaught of ads so I wouldn’t know the situation involving ads and this game.
The idea isn’t bad and the sword making part for getting a higher score is a great idea for a mobile game. It’s the combat and level design that needs work. As per most quick/simple mobile games, it has a massive difficulty spike around level 12-15 if you don’t invest in health and damage.
If the devs care, here’s my advice:
Space out obstacles a little more, make the track a tad wider, and make obstacles not take up a whole 40% of the track and that would massively improve the level design. It felt way too tight whenever I was on the track.
Maybe add a shield power up on the track or have it be an upgrade from the beginning to help lessen damage taken and make the difficulty spike less apparent.
Also, my character flinches whenever I’m hit but the opponent doesn’t? From what I’ve experienced, there’s a certain window when you attack that can cancel the opponent’s attack and just wail on them. Then again, that might also be the computer just waiting a random time before attacking. Either way, I feel if I flinch and get stopped from attacking, the computer should too.
That’s all, I hope a dev sees and tries to improve on the game. As an aspiring game designer myself, I know I’d take notes.

Fri Dec 02 2022 Waz433After level like 25 it literally just turns into a game where we become farmers! I know it sounds weird. But we’re farming for ads everyone. You literally can not beat a level without watching an ad. They make the level incredibly hard to either not get a long sword at the end. Or if you do you can’t defeat the opponent, you will get half their health down and you will be at zero. BUT you get to watch a video for a “second chance” and after that. If you unlock a hero, or what ever they are in this game, you get to watch an ad to unlock it or you’ll “lose it forever”, which is terrible wording for littler kids by the way. But not my point. But after you click no to that you’ll probably have to watch an ad after that. Then you can buy an upgrade to hopefully be able to beat it on the first try next time! Health, speed, and damage. Doesn’t matter which one you pick. None will help. It’s gonna be the same thing next level. Then the level after that. Fun game until that point though.
TL;DR: after around 25 levels your stats don’t matter and levels become difficult to actually have a long sword to collect the higher buffs of damage and speed. Even if you do those don’t really make a difference, you’ll lose. Get the second chance. Then beat it. Then repeat. Your point after 25 levels is to watch ads.
Shame on these people making these games.

Sat Jun 04 2022 TheionReap3rThe gameplay itself is good, but the game has been packed full of so many ads that it could burst at any moment. Every game like this one has some sort of multiplier at the end of a level to increase your earnings, but you have to watch an ad to do that (and that’s just fine). But what isn’t fine is the fact that it doesn’t even matter. If you don’t want the multiplier (and therefore the ad), you can just press the, “no thanks” button below, but the game gives you an ad anyway! On top of this, you have to watch an ad if you want a better character as well. Another thing that drives me crazy is the level design. You can never get a decent sort because of the haphazardly placed obstacles, it almost feels like they want you to have a garbage sword! But despite all of this, I still kept on playing the game anyway, but the thing that drove me towards deleting the app was the fact that I was unable to play the game anymore. When you get to level 17, the game just breaks before you can even start the level, you just click and the level doesn’t start! I have no idea why this is happening and if I’m able to fix it, I have no idea where to start! Developers, if you’re reading this, please fix all of these problems that I just mentioned, despite all of what I just said, I really want to play your game.

Sun Aug 07 2022 hjginjfnvrnvjnfnv)nThis game has decent game play but it is overshadowed by the overwhelming amount of ads. I couldn’t actually enjoy the game play due to how many ads there were. I put my phone on airplane mode in order to play the game without ads but that made the levels impossible to complete. One of my friends who downloaded the game onto their phone paid for it to be ad-free, but got ads anyways. This game bombards the user with ads and any attempts to avoid ads, including literally paying for ad-free game play, fail. The amount of ads implies that whoever made this game cares more about monetary gain and profit than about the enjoyment of the people that this game should be for.
Not to mention that, at a certain point, the game becomes impossible to beat. Everyone I know that tried to play this game has said that the levels get unbeatable at around level 15-17, which is ridiculous for a game that is meant to be for 12 year olds. If you’re looking for a game to destress than this game isn’t for you. I recommend looking for a game that has less ads and is easier to beat.

Wed Aug 24 2022 6Unbelievable9It doesn’t matter what I do I can never get more than 12 cauldrons. The controls are a bit twitchy and it never seems like I’m making any real progress.
You have to watch an ad to get any kind of new character which I’ve yet to do. And even after buying no ads ($3) all it seems to do is get rid of the giant no ad logo at the start of the game.
This feels like a cash grab, it just seems as if the devs only wanted to make this game to make money from ad revenue.
Not much replay value cause it gets stale after a bit. Nothing changes very much at all and the levels are barely any different.
I loved the idea of this game but it could be executed with more care.
Maybe add some characters you can buy with coins or another currency. Add some more scenery and maybe some boss levels.
I enjoyed the game while I did but it just falls off fast.
I hope they care enough to put in a bit more effort, and actually make it playable to the point where it’s enjoyable the whole time.

Sat Feb 26 2022 FffifghhhhcrjfI was actually having a decent time playing this game in my free time. Just opened the app and a new update has obviously rolled out. It now says my lvl is 999, and my money has reset. Whenever I reach the end of the “forging” stage and get to the fighting stage the game freezes and won’t progress. Unfortunately seems like they wanted to implement ads and this isn’t a bad thing as the developer needs to make some money from what they’ve created. But I would’ve wished it: 1) Didn’t make the game unplayable for those who have been playing prior to this update. 2) Wish they would’ve implemented a way to purchase an advertisement free dlc for USD 1.99
Overall, was a fun game with some great quality graphics, but with it being unplayable now I have no reason to retain the app on my phone.

Fri May 06 2022 suprmonkeyiI was mad after just the first level! It forced you to watch ads, and you couldn’t skip the ads, you couldn’t even see how long they were to see if it was worth it! And usually, it isn’t worth it. The main game is fine, but in between levels it’s just not worth it. Games like these always have ads with someone doing terrible at the game, and then that makes you want to prove that you can do better! And you can, but the games make you have to watch ads, but that doesn’t make sense, because people would just leave the game after the first few levels! All you have to do is make a good game, with little to no ads, and then people would actually play the game! Just remove the ads from this game and it would be a much better game.

Sat May 07 2022 nphardy17It’s a great game and has really good potential however. I’m giving this a one star as it’s so over saturated with ads I got annoyed with the game. Want a character? Ad. Bonus money? Ad. Defeat a level but don’t want to take bonus and/or new character? 50/50 non-skip-able ad. Again understand that the creator needs to make money but the ad flood gate is so open you may have just flooded an entire country. Better ad control and make it so the levels have a realistic chance of getting a high power sword if done right? Some of the level auto generate walls or other obstacles shortly after a buff item like the water or the forge making it impossible to build up a decent sword if any sword on certain levels.
