Swords Maker is a hyper-casual 'runner' style game that leans heavily into the satisfaction of the assembly line. You start with a basic blade and move through various gates that sharpen, heat, quench, and polish your weapon. It’s one of those games that captures the 'oddly satisfying' trend perfectly; watching a dull piece of metal transform into a gleaming katana or broadsword as you dodge obstacles is surprisingly hypnotic.
The gameplay loop is very short, designed for quick bursts of play. While it doesn't offer the depth of a true smithing simulator, the visual feedback of the sword evolving in real-time is the main hook. The end-of-level mechanic, where you test your sword's sharpness against various objects, provides a nice payoff to the run. It’s a great time-filler, though the frequent ads between levels can disrupt the flow. If you enjoy games like 'Coffee Stack' or 'Arrow Fest,' this smithing twist on the genre will likely click for you.
I was hoping for a bit of blacksmithing strategy, but what I got was another gate-runner. You move left and right, pick up 'metal' or 'heat,' and avoid the obvious obstacles. It’s the same gameplay loop we’ve seen in every 'fill the bar' runner over the last three years. The forging animations are basic and lack any tactile weight.
It’s a conservative 38 from me. It works, sure, but why would anyone spend more than five minutes on this? The end-of-level combat is just a numbers game—there’s no skill involved. It’s a distraction, not a game.
Performance: Consistent frame rate, though the physics can be a bit janky during collisions.
Buy if: You are a fan of the 'hyper-casual runner' genre and need a new skin.
Skip if: You want a deep crafting sim or an actual action game.

Swords Maker is an addictive arcade runner where you take on the role of a master blacksmith on the go. Navigate through dynamic gates to process your metal: melt the ore, hammer the shape, quench the steel, and sharpen the edge. At the end of each run, test your weapon's strength and sharpness to earn rewards and unlock new, exotic sword designs. It's a fast-paced, satisfying experience for players who love crafting and arcade action.

Prioritize the green gates marked with 'Sharpen' and 'Polish.' Avoid the red saw blades at all costs, as they will chip your blade and reduce its value. The hotter you keep the sword during the hammering phase, the more value it gains at the final sell point.
At the finish line, your sword will automatically slice through a series of objects. The more processing you successfully completed during the run, the more objects you'll cut through, multiplying your final coin reward.
You can unlock new skins by reaching specific level milestones or by spending the coins you earn at the end of each run in the shop.
