Dinsun here. I’m clearly not the target audience for this, and frankly, I’m glad. Tag with Ryan is a paint-by-numbers endless runner that brings nothing new to the genre. It’s loud, it’s colorful, and it’s constantly pushing for engagement. The gameplay is functional but completely derivative of titles like Subway Surfers or Temple Run. If you have a child who is obsessed with the YouTube channel, they’ll enjoy seeing the characters. For anyone else, it’s a mediocre experience designed more for brand synergy than for quality gaming. The microtransactions are exactly what you'd expect from a licensed kids' title—aggressive.
