Dinsun here. I’ll be honest: I don’t get it. Tanghulu Master is barely a game. You tap a fruit, you tap a syrup, and then you listen to a digital avatar make loud chewing noises. If you’re an ASMR enthusiast, maybe there’s some value here, but as a gamer, I find the 'gameplay' to be non-existent. There is zero challenge, zero strategy, and the 'progression' is just unlocking more things to listen to.
The art style is vibrant and 'cute,' but it feels very 'Zoomer-bait.' It’s a trend-chaser app, capitalizing on TikTok Mukbang videos. The sound design is crisp, I’ll give it that, but unless you find the sound of a digital human crunching on a strawberry therapeutic, there’s nothing for you here. It’s a shallow experience that highlights how far the definition of 'game' has been stretched on the App Store.
