Dinsun Review
Tank Hero reminds me of the classic tank battles we had back in the day, but with a clean 3D coat of paint. It’s refreshing to see a game that doesn't try to be too clever. You move, you aim, you fire. The level design is conservative but effective, using cover and geometry to create actual tactical dilemmas.
It’s a bit repetitive in the long run, and the graphics are starting to look quite dated, but the core 'game feel' is still there. It’s got a bit of that 'Combat' or 'Battle City' DNA in it. As a 40-year-old, I appreciate that it doesn't force a complex story on me; it just gives me a tank and tells me to survive. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a very competent, disciplined shooter that respects the genre’s roots.
