It demands patience, resource management, and a willingness to actually read the dialogue—traits that modern mobile developers assume their audiences lack. The turn-based mechanics are solidly implemented, echoing the golden era of Might & Magic and Wizardry. I genuinely appreciate that it does not hold your hand; if you wander into the wrong area, you will be brutally punished by the local fauna. That is how RPGs are supposed to be designed.
However, my praise comes with necessary caveats. The hand-drawn art style is certainly nostalgic, but it is also decidedly stiff and lacks the fluid animation one might expect on modern hardware.
