I just want to play pool. I don’t want to 'join a club,' I don't want 'daily login rewards,' and I certainly don't want to buy a legendary cue that has special powers. The physics here are actually quite good—the ball weight feels right. But the 'game' around the pool is exhausting. It’s designed to be a habit, not a hobby. If you can ignore the constant notifications and the 'pro' subscription, it’s a fine way to waste five minutes. But as a purist, I find all the extra 'mobile-isms' distracting.
