If you're going to play Unblock Me, pay for the Premium version. The difference in 'game feel' when you aren't being harassed by a pop-up every two levels is immense. It allows you to actually get into a flow state with the puzzles. The mechanics are exactly the same—sliding wooden blocks to free the red one—but the lack of clutter makes it feel like a more professional product.

Is it worth a few bucks in 2026? Only if you really love this specific type of puzzle. There are plenty of free clones out there, but this is the 'original' mobile version with the most content. It’s stable, syncs well, and is a solid piece of software. It’s not revolutionary, and I still find the lack of visual updates a bit lazy, but it’s a 'pure' gaming experience which I respect.
