Unlike proves that simple premises often make for the most addictive mobile puzzle games. By constantly changing what 'different' means—from rotation angles to subtle movement speeds—it keeps your brain fully engaged from the moment a level loads.
The slick aesthetic and immediate touch responsiveness make playing through stages feel incredibly crisp. It’s a fantastic brain-training puzzle game that is equal parts relaxing and mentally invigorating.
I understand the appeal of minimalist aesthetic games. Unlike strips away all the clutter, menus, and noise of modern mobile apps, presenting you with clean visual patterns and asking you to spot the subtle discrepancies. The presentation is undeniably sleek, and if you enjoy classic 'find the difference' puzzles from Sunday newspapers, it delivers that exact experience in digital form.
My hesitation comes down to whether this actually qualifies as a compelling video game rather than a digital activity book. There are no mechanics to master, no strategy to develop, and no lasting progression. You tap the screen where the picture changes and move on. At 40, when I sit down with a game, I look for systems and challenges that engage my brain beyond basic visual acuity. It's pleasant enough to look at, but it leaves very little impression once you put it down.
Performance: Flawless rendering and smooth touch response.

LEARN BY PLAYING

Unlike is an elegant visual perception and odd-one-out puzzle game. Presenting players with minimalist grids of shapes, colors, vectors, and movement patterns, the goal is simple yet deceptively tricky: identify the single element that is unlike the rest. As stages progress, the rule sets shift dynamically, testing logical deduction, visual processing, and reaction speed.
Hundreds of minimal visual odd-one-out perception levels
Dynamic rule shifts covering shapes, colors, rotations, and animations
Sleek minimalist graphic presentation with crisp haptic feedback
Endless survival mode alongside structured campaign puzzle stages
Quick-fire gameplay ideal for brief mental workouts
When entering a new tier of levels, don't just compare colors—look at rotation angles, border thickness, animation speeds, or symmetry. The outlier often differs by a subtle mathematical rule rather than an obvious color swap.

Each stage renders a set of geometric or abstract shapes. Players examine the arrangement to determine the governing pattern (e.g., sides count, motion direction, symmetry) and tap the non-conforming object to advance to the next rapid-fire round.
The main objective is to observe the pattern shown on screen and tap the single item that is different or breaking the rule set.
