Vertical Golf is exactly what you expect from a budget mobile title—and that isn't a compliment. It takes the basic 'drag-and-release' mechanic we've seen a thousand times and applies it to a vertical climb. While the physics are functional, there's a complete lack of soul or innovation here. It’s the kind of game you play for five minutes in a waiting room and then immediately forget exists. The minimalism feels less like an artistic choice and more like a lack of effort. It works, but it doesn't inspire.
