Vexed is a classic for a reason. Originally a staple of the PalmOS era, this mobile port brings the same addictive 'clear the screen' logic to modern devices. The goal is simple: move similar blocks side-by-side to make them disappear. However, because you are dealing with gravity and a limited number of moves, it quickly becomes a taxing brain-teaser.

With 48 level packs containing 60 levels each, the sheer amount of content is staggering. It’s a very minimalist experience—don’t expect fancy 3D graphics or a cinematic soundtrack. This is pure, raw puzzling. Some levels are notoriously difficult and require perfect planning, making it a great pick for enthusiasts who miss the era of 'hard' logic puzzles without modern hand-holding.

Vexed is as 'old-school' as it gets. It doesn't care about flashy effects, narrative hooks, or modern progression systems. It’s just you versus the grid. The puzzles are legitimately difficult, requiring the kind of spatial planning I used to enjoy on the Palm OS back in the day. It’s a pure test of logic, which I can appreciate in a market flooded with 'wait-to-win' garbage.

However, the presentation is functional at best and hideous at worst. The UI feels like a direct port from a decade ago, and the lack of any real feedback makes it feel sterile. It’s a great way to kill time if you want to exercise your brain, but there’s zero joy in the experience itself. It’s the digital equivalent of a logic textbook—useful, but not exactly fun.
