Virtual Stop Light is less of a 'game' and more of a specialized utility that serves a very specific niche. As an expert in app utility design, I find the simplicity here to be its greatest asset. It mimics a standard traffic signal perfectly. I've seen this used effectively in classroom settings to manage noise levels or for children's games like 'Red Light, Green Light' when a physical signal isn't available.
It isn't going to win any awards for deep gameplay because there isn't any. It's a tool. The inclusion of a timer and manual control modes are helpful features. It could benefit from a few more sound options or a 'yellow light' duration setting, but for what it claims to be—a virtual stop light—it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Dinsun here. I don't even know why this is in the Games category. It’s a literal stoplight on your phone. You tap a button, it turns red. You tap another, it turns green. That's the whole experience. It’s a tool for teachers or maybe for people who want to play 'Red Light, Green Light' and don't have a piece of paper.
There are no levels, no score, no challenges. As a software product, it’s remarkably basic. I'm giving it a low score because as a 'game,' it has zero value. As a tool, it’s fine, I guess? But why would you need an app for this? Just open a colored image in your gallery. It’s a waste of storage space.
Performance: It works. It's three circles on a screen.
Buy if: You are a teacher who specifically needs a digital stoplight for your classroom.
Skip if: You are anyone else looking for entertainment.

The Virtual Stop Light is the perfect tool to learn how traffic signals work (and it's pretty fun, too!). It's a great app for babies, toddlers, and little kids (I made it for my 2 year old son :) ).
If you have a group, here's a fun game to try:
Open the app, prop it up where everyone can see the light, and just follow the prompts: red means stop, yellow means move arms but not legs, and green means walk.
All you need to do to get started is open the app (which begins with a red light), and wait until it turns green to GO!
A counter appears at the bottom of the screen which shows you how much time is left until the light changes, and once 5 seconds are left, little beeps lets you know to start revving your engines. You can also force a light change by just tapping the top, middle, or bottom of the screen.
If you want the Virtual Stop Light to take a break, just press the pause button at the top of the screen.
Have fun!
