War of Heroes GZ is a traditional gacha-RPG that leans into its flashy combat and hero collection mechanics. The art style is vibrant, with characters that have a distinct 'heroic fantasy' look. War of Heroes GZ feels like it was put together with a checklist: Gacha system? Check. Elemental rock-paper-scissors? Check. Auto-battle that plays better than you? Check. It’s a competent game, but competence is a low bar when there are dozens of better versions of this already on the store. The tactical depth they promise is mostly an illusion; once you hit a certain level, your gear stats matter far more than where you placed your tank.

The art is actually decent—the ultimate animations have some flair—but you’ll be skipping them after the third time because you just want the loot. The monetization is predictably pushy, with pop-ups for 'limited time' packs every time you return to the main menu. It’s a functional distraction, but it’s doing nothing to move the genre forward. It’s the gaming equivalent of a frozen dinner: it fills the void, but you won't remember it tomorrow.
