Playing as a lion, you don't just hunt for food; you have to train, upgrade your skills, and eventually find a mate to start a pride. Raising cubs adds a layer of responsibility as you protect them from other predators like hyenas.

The controls are intuitive, allowing you to pounce from high rocks or climb trees to ambush prey. Visually, the HD graphics are a cut above typical mobile simulators, especially the realistic lion animations. While the gameplay can become repetitive once you've established your family, the addition of different weather types—like lightning storms and fog—changes the atmosphere enough to keep exploration interesting. It's a solid survival game that captures the raw nature of the savanna without being overly complex.

The 'simulator' tag is used very loosely here. The physics are floaty, the animations are stiff, and the AI of the 'prey' is practically non-existent. You run around a sparsely populated map, press an attack button until something dies, and repeat. It feels like a project made with off-the-shelf assets rather than a carefully crafted game.

It’s not broken, technically, but it lacks any sort of polish. The environments are bland and the 'quests' are just 'kill X amount of Y.' It might appeal to a younger kid who just wants to be a lion for an afternoon, but for an adult gamer, there is absolutely no depth here. It’s a bargain-bin experience on a modern device.
