Dinsun here. I’ll admit, the art style in Window Garden is genuinely pleasing. It’s got that pixel-art, cozy-vibe down to a science. The lofi soundtrack is actually good—not just generic elevator music. As far as 'non-games' go, this one at least provides a sense of artistic accomplishment. You’re building a little space that looks nice.
But let’s be real: it’s a digital pet for plants. There’s no challenge. There’s no risk. It’s all 'vibes.' For a man of my era, gaming is usually about overcoming something. Here, the only thing you overcome is the desire to put your phone down. It’s a high-quality product for what it is, but what it is remains a very limited experience. It’s perfect for people who use the word 'aesthetic' unironically. For the rest of us, it's a nice curiosity that wears thin after you've watered your third fern.
