I’ve seen this game a thousand times under a thousand different names. Words of Wonders: Search is the definition of 'low-effort' puzzle design. You look at a grid, you find the word 'APPLE' or 'CAIRO,' and you move on. The pictures of the Eiffel Tower in the background don't make the act of circling letters any more engaging. It’s a passive experience, almost clinical in its simplicity.

It’s a safe game for people who don't actually like games. If you want something to do while your brain is entirely switched off, this is it. But if you value your time as a gamer, there are much more engaging ways to challenge your mind. It’s a digital version of the puzzle books you find in an airport gift shop. Functional, but boring.
