The update wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the end of the world.
Tue May 19 2020 rrc120Recently this app had a massive update that changed the makeup of the VIP program. It was painful, but hey it’s their app and we don’t have to play if we don’t want to. People are still playing and on occasion they complain about the change. For the most part the games are fun and can be just as fickle as any slot machine in Vegas. Support is pretty good considering that sometimes they get the brunt of people’s ire. If you have a problem with one of the games it’s always good to have screenshots and video. That goes a long way towards helping support see your side of things and they do make good on the problem.
Even with this time in which we are in, where they may have fewer people working and this virus that’s going around making extra work for them. They still find the time to help out whenever possible.
So if you enjoy playing slots and don’t expect to be able to advance in the vip program without paying money. This game is for you. If you find that paying to advance objectionable, then stay away. There are already plenty of people complaining about the rules and frankly it gets old.
If you join a Facebook group that’s nice because there are strategies for playing the games for the most fun. That’s my take on this app. Play don’t play it’s up to you.
Not worth the time anymore.
Fri Mar 13 2020 levicky07When this game came out, I played it at least 16 hours a day. It was such a fun and rewarding game! I got all of my friends and family to play, but with the recent updates, all of them ended up quitting and deleting the app. I spend a lot of time and money on this app but it is not as fun as it used to be. There is no way someone can maintain their vip status without spending hundreds of dollars in this game. Especially when you get only 1 vip point for every daily rewards. Not only that, the vip points for the daily events changed drastically too. 1 billion coins don’t even last me a full day anymore. This game is not worth my time anymore. I rather just pay to stay at a different hotel where everything is instead of walking miles to get to it from the Wynn. I play a lot of the slot machines and eat at the restaurants at the Wynn but now, I am going to start booking my stays elsewhere.
Great game when working. Customer support is lacking
Sat Sep 07 2019 RCBombenVery fun game when everything is working properly. I’ve both built up my coins and purchased coins to a point where I could play in the high roller room. When playing, you are pretty much trying to stay alive until you get into the bonus. This is even more important when playing in the high roller room. Over a dozen times when betting the max (24mil per spin) I got into the bonus, then the game would say “server error.” This would only happen when entering the bonus areas. These errors easily cost me 1 billion in bonus coins every time this happens. I sent one email stating my issue. The response was “server error fixed” with a bonus of 10k chips for the trouble. The errors continued though. My second email went with no response. After the amount of money I have payed to play this game, I expected better support. There isn’t much choice but to stop playing because of the lost bonus coins, which in turn costs me real money to keep playing. The service on this app doesn’t reflect the service The Wynn is known for.
Review update: June 1st 2019
Support emailed me with an apology and credited my account 500mil coins. It sounds like a lot, but isn’t even 1/20th of what I would’ve received if my bonus rounds haven’t had time out errors over a dozen times. I appreciate the email, but the compensation doesn’t make up for the issues that I dealt with.
Don’t expect too much.
Wed Aug 28 2024 CowabungaPandaI have been playing this game for years and have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, the free rooms are quite nice and provide a pleasant environment when in Vegas. However, when it comes to the actual gameplay, things take a disappointing turn. To truly enjoy the game and earn bigger rewards, you find yourself needing to spend a significant amount of money. The mechanics are frustrating, especially since you rarely get chests from spins or the dragon orbs or whatever it is you need to win the mini games, which adds to the overall feeling of being shortchanged. The battles can be fun, but it’s disheartening when computer opponents suddenly pull off massive wins, knocking you out repeatedly, typically by n their last spin or two and they do it over and over back to back. The odds seem heavily stacked against players, making victories feel more like a rarity than a reward for effort. I used to love this game and have invested a considerable amount of money, leading me to feel as if I might as well have paid for the so-called "free rooms." Ultimately, the constant losing has made it far less enjoyable. It’s a shame, as the potential for fun is there, but the overall execution leaves much to be desired.
Rewards are a Joke
Wed Sep 06 2023 Scg41523I used to play all the time and have spent a good amount of money on the App. I did so because the idea of obtaining free rooms and/or a free buffet made it worthwhile in my mind. Those days are now done in my opinion. Some rooms now cost over 20,000 gems per night, so at most that would be one free night. And “free” itself is a relative term in this context because I would need to spend around $200 to level up to the point where I could even take advantage. Moreover, when the pandemic hit, the offer to use points on the Wynn Buffet were taken away. Made sense at the time, but I believe that The Wynn saw this as an opportunity to remove this perk forever, as it has not returned even though the buffet reopened a while ago.
Instead of using this App to make a few bucks and get people to come to the Wynn where they would spend a lot more, the company is now using it to simply make money and nothing else. Seems extremely shortsighted to me.
I used to be on the App every day, but now I barely touch it. More importantly, my wife and I always stopped at the Wynn while in Vegas, but on our last trip we refused to do so out of principle. That will continue.
Waste if time
Wed Dec 11 2019 SlortererI previously reviewed this app and gave it a 2 but just dropped it to a 1 and will probably delete it. The latest revision did it for me. It took a long time and a lot of playing to get to where you could actually use your points but I finally had enough for a room reservation. They then increased the number of points required which for most dates was prohibitive. Now, they created a level system which makes it almost impossible to maintain or grow to a higher level to where you can actually use your points for anything. This app is now a complete waste of time unless you want to spend a lot of money buying a lot of points for nothing. Payouts are scarce. Probably just cheaper to go get a room and pay for it if you want to stay at the Wynn.
Out of curiosity, I checked some other reviews and saw almost everyone feels the same way I do; that this is now a worthless app. One thing stood out though...the app people only respond to favorable reviews, all 2 of them. What a load of crap when they say how they how much they care about the players....my app was just now reset to 0 with 90 days to continue the benefits.......whoopie.....deleting the app when I save this edit.
A great great disappointment
Sat Jul 18 2020 Espinas123I was excited when I saw that Wynn had an online slot game. I played for several weeks and discovered this is not up to Wynn standards. The games, are okay but the problem is that it is difficult to win anything! It is as though individuals creating the game do not realize there’s really no money involved to win yet the slot games are very tight—much more than in Las Vegas at the Wynn. The entire focus is on getting you to buy more and more coins. Indeed, at times you have to go through pretending you’re going to buy some coins to get back to the games as they freeze the screen. I am so angry and feel cheated as this is supposed to be entertainment. It is meant to be a fun game and yes you need to spend money for coins but you lose mostly and quickly! I go to the Wynn in Vegas relatively frequently and if these games are an example of their new approach to gaming I do not think I will go to the Wynn casino anymore. Don’t waste your money like I did. To be sure you don’t expect to win overall with slots but you do expect to be able to play and win on and off before the machine takes your money. But the norms here just take your money and, again, quickly.

Corporate greed is here
Sat Feb 22 2020 April JocsonThe newest update from feb 20 dropped VIP points for everything plus made room booking available at VIP level 3. It is now IMPOSSIBLE to get the VIP points without spending a couple hundred dollars. Very disappointed.
I really used to like how this game was rewarding and relatively passively so now if you’re not obsessively playing this game 24 hours a day you have no hopes of reaping any benefits such as being able to book a room and have a little stay in Las Vegas. I really appreciated this game because we were able to have comped rooms to go for a brief honeymoon amongst a busy schedule but now with this new VIP system it’s not even gonna be worth my time. Real world comps are now nearly impossible
Thu Sep 12 2019 minne jjI played this game regularly for about 4 months and was planning a November trip to Vegas as I had earned enough to book a room for three nights. The next morning all that progress was gone and it will be nearly impossible to earn room nights without spending nearly $100. I will not do this on principle alone! Players could’ve been notified of the change ahead of time or players could be offered a grace period to redeem gems previously earned, or existing players could start out at a higher vip level. I understand a business needs to make money but this is really shameful. I would even have been willing to pay resort fees instead of this. It’s a shame that Vegas tried to become a family destination in the 90’s, lost money, and are still losing money because they no longer attract just gamblers. Well Wynn just missed out on this gambler visiting and spending money on their games, restaurants, and shops. I always bring older family members with me to Vegas and we do everything at the property we stay at; eat, gamble, shop. We will now bring this business back to one of our favorites; Palazzo, Venetian, Cosmopolitan, Paris.
VIP expirations!!!
Sat Mar 27 2021 <---- Rating this App!!!This app makes it impossible without spending quite a bit of cash to get VIP levels. If you are playing this app for fun, then you don’t care about this. But for the ones looking to book a night. You have to get to level 3 in VIP levels before you can book. Plus you have to grind out hours of your time to even get enough gems to get a room. Which why they give you a gem discount at level 3 when that’s the first time you can book a room anyways. You should be able to book a room at level 2 without a gem discount. Just makes sense!
I understand some people have a lot of time on their hands but even just doing this on the side you will never level up in VIP points, one point per daily login, but they expire after 90 days and you need 2,500 for the first level. Get out of here with that. Just a overall impossible setup with the expiring VIP points. If you took off the expiration and allowed people to book at Level 2 with no gem discount. Then more people would grind and want to have a chance to stay at the Wynn. But the way it’s set up now. People are uninstalling this app. Hope this review can shed some light for new users!
