Dinsun Review
I usually despise tilt controls—they feel like a gimmick that never quite works. But in iBomber, they actually make sense. The slow, heavy movement of the bomber feels right for the hardware. It’s an arcade game at heart, reminiscent of something you’d find in a cabinet in the late 80s. The missions are short, which fits the mobile platform perfectly, and the hand-drawn art style has aged much better than the 3D games of its era.
It’s a bit thin on content, though. Once you’ve done a dozen bomb runs, you’ve basically seen everything the game has to offer. There’s no real depth to the progression, and the gameplay never evolves beyond 'move here, tap there.' It’s a polished piece of software, but it’s definitely a product of its time. It’s good for a few hours of fun, but it won't hold your attention for a week.
