inReverse Party Game Lite is a hilarious and unique addition to any social gathering. The premise is simple but incredibly challenging: you record yourself saying a word or phrase, and then the app plays it back in reverse. Your goal is to then record yourself mimicking that reversed sound, and then the app reverses *that* to see how close you got to the original word.

It sounds confusing, but it’s actually intuitive and leads to some of the most bizarre and funny sounds you’ll ever hear your friends make. The 'Lite' version gives you a great taste of the core mechanic, though you'll eventually want the full version for more word categories and longer recording times. It’s a perfect icebreaker and one of the few mobile games that truly encourages group interaction in the real world.

Dinsun Review

InReverse is less of a game and more of a digital parlor trick. Back in the day, we’d just play with a cassette recorder to get this effect. The 'Lite' version here is especially egregious, offering a bare-bones interface that feels like it was designed in an afternoon. You record a sound, it plays back backwards, and everyone is supposed to laugh. The novelty lasts exactly three minutes before you realize there’s zero depth here.

Technically, it’s competent at reversing audio, but that’s like praising a calculator for being able to add. As a 'party game,' it fails because it demands everyone huddle around a tiny phone screen and wait for slow processing times. It’s the kind of app that clutters up your home screen after one drunken night and is never opened again. I’ve seen better design in shareware from the 90s.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Every game round involves two players, but if you have more people you can break into teams and change team every round.
2. The First Player secretly records a short fragment of a song a capella while the Second Player is not listening.
3. The Second Player listens to the recorded a cappella in reverse and tries to guess the song at once.
4. If the Second Player can’t guess it, then he tries to repeat the reversed version by recording it fragment by fragment.
5. When all fragments are recorded, Second Player listens to them all together reversed back and makes his final guess! If he has repeated fragment close enough he should hear the original song. Or something very similar!
