This is the kind of 'weird' that I actually enjoy. It’s not really a game in the traditional sense; it’s more of a series of social Rorschach tests. Do you move to let someone sit? Do you wait for the elevator? The simplicity of the art—just red and black on white—is perfect for the deadpan humor.
It’s very Japanese, which might mean some of the social cues are lost on Western audiences, but the core human awkwardness is universal. It’s short, and once you’ve seen the scenarios, there’s not much reason to go back, but it’s a memorable hour of gaming. It’s conservative in its design, but radical in its concept. I respect that.
