Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. I have a soft spot for games that know exactly what they are and don't try to be anything else. This is one of them. You jump, you dodge, you die. The pixel art is crisp, the chiptune track is fantastic, and the 'juiciness' of the movements makes every near-miss feel exhilarating.
It’s a score-chaser through and through. It reminds me of the old-school quarter-munchers from my youth. It’s brutally difficult, which I appreciate, and the unlockable characters are actually distinct enough to warrant the grind. It doesn't have a story or complex mechanics, but it doesn't need them. It’s pure, distilled arcade action. Highly recommended for short bursts.
