Hearts Card Game is a timeless trick-taking card game for four players, now available on your iPhone and iPad. Compete against advanced AI opponents that adapt to your skill level, ensuring a fair and challenging experience. Your goal is to avoid collecting hearts (1 point each) and the Queen of Spades (13 points), unless you aim to 'Shoot the Moon' by taking all penalty cards to give your opponents 26 points. With crisp graphics, smooth animations, and offline play, this game is perfect for both beginners and seasoned players. Customize your experience with different scoring options and enjoy a relaxing yet strategic card game anytime, anywhere.
Launch the app and select your difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard). You'll be dealt 13 cards. Start by passing three cards to another player (direction varies each round: left, right, across, or none). The player with the Two of Clubs leads the first trick. Follow suit if possible, or play any card if you can't. Avoid taking tricks with hearts or the Queen of Spades unless you're aiming to Shoot the Moon.
Pay attention to which cards have been played. Pass high cards or the Queen of Spades during the card-passing phase to reduce risk. If you have low cards in a suit, try to void that suit to safely discard high cards later. To Shoot the Moon, collect all 13 hearts and the Queen of Spades in one round, but be cautious—it’s risky!
Play to 100 points, where the lowest score wins. Each heart is worth 1 point, and the Queen of Spades is 13 points. Strategize to pass high-risk cards and avoid taking penalty cards, or go for the bold Shoot the Moon strategy to give all opponents 26 points.
This mode includes the Jack of Diamonds as a -10 point card, adding a twist to the classic game. Aim to capture this card to reduce your score while still avoiding hearts and the Queen of Spades. It’s a great way to add variety to your gameplay.
Pass the Queen of Spades during the card-passing phase if possible. During play, avoid leading spades unless you’re sure the Queen has been played or you have low spades to protect yourself. Track which spade cards have been played to stay safe.
Shooting the Moon is when you collect all 13 hearts and the Queen of Spades in one round. Instead of adding 26 points to your score, you give 26 points to each opponent (or reduce your own score by 26, depending on settings). It’s a high-risk, high-reward strategy.
Yes, this Hearts game supports offline play, so you can enjoy it anywhere without needing Wi-Fi or data.
