The Get Together is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I’ve had in years. It’s essentially an 'Escape Room' that you can play from your couch with a friend. The game forces you to develop a shorthand language with your partner, and there’s a genuine sense of accomplishment when you finally figure out how your two screens connect.
It’s short—you can finish it in about 2-3 hours—but every minute is high-quality. The art is moody and beautiful, and the puzzles are perfectly pitched: difficult enough to make you think, but never so hard that you give up. It’s a perfect 'date night' game or a way to stay connected with a friend in a different city. Truly a standout title for the platform.
It's hard to be too critical of a game that just wants you to pet cats. The puzzles start out incredibly easy—too easy, really—but they do pick up later on. It’s a 'cozy' game, which usually means it’s a bit light on substance, and that’s true here. Good for winding down before bed, but don't expect a brain-buster.
Performance: Flawless.

The Get Together is an innovative cooperative puzzle game designed specifically for two players on separate devices. You and your partner are separated by a mysterious void, each seeing a different version of the same world. To solve the challenges ahead, you must talk to each other, describing what you see and coordinating your actions in real-time. It's a game about observation, listening, and teamwork. With a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere and mind-bending puzzles, The Get Together is a truly unique social experience.

Some puzzles require both players to perform an action at the exact same time. Use a countdown—'3, 2, 1, GO'—to ensure your switches are flipped simultaneously across the void.
